Mike fixes "flyers"

One day in July a hummingbird flew into the hangar and was unable to get out. It flew around inside until it collapsed from lack of food. Mike kept dipping the bird's beak into a feeder until it began to revive. Everyone was fascinated to watch this little bird slowly regain its strength until it was able to fly away.

At MMS the guys are accustomed to restoring airplanes to flight, but it was the first time that they actually restored a bird to flight.

Just another day in the life of an airplane mechanic!
